How to install Nord VPN onto a Netgear R7000 Router? I'm interested in using a VPN so I am trying Nord VPN. I would like all of my devices covered. So far I have not found exactly how to do it. Can someone give me some step by step instructions? Thanks . I have a client with a small office who has a Netgear R7000 installed. They wanted to be able to access their server remotely from home and I noticed the router has a VPN service. So I enabled it and installed and configured the OpenVPN client on the laptops that would be accessing the network remotely. I think recent thread about third party built-in OpenVPN on R7000 is that it does not support Client option but only VPN termination at R7000 to use remote client to access the lan devices behind the R7000 In those feature I believe Asus has it's feature on Asus firmware but R7000 can do the same with DD-WRT is what someone said.

Hi, a bit of time has passed since this thread was last active. I've got an R7000P and looking for alternative builds based on Tomato. I had Kong's DDWRT build on it but I've given up on it since the 5Ghz network disappeared and I couldn't get it working again (see other threads on here).

Ils m'ont tous dit que pour pouvoir le faire il fallait que je flash mon routeur avec DDWRT. Ils me disent aussi que c'est possible. Par contre quand je vais sur la database, le R7000 n'apparait pas. 26/02/2019 Does Netgear plan on adding this VPN functionality to the R7000 via FW? 2. If not, is there a different Netgear router which can achieve the above? 3. If not, would I have to setup the VPN service at the device level on each separate device to be protected? If so, does this mean that I would not have to install the OpenVPN client on each device, but rather install whatever client my VPN
